This quote by Einstein because he’s saying that he’s not any smarter than anyone of us, he was just more intrigued by these theories than anyone. Curiosity is what develops us as individuals. That doesn’t mean you should be curious about light curvature or relativity (that shits interesting) but you should make curiosity a hobby.
My mind occasionally wanders and asks silly questions that you don’t know the answer to, like; How do watches work? Why are owls nocturnal? Where does my poop go when I throw it away? Follow those questions and discover that Google is at our fingertips at all times.
By finding the answer to these questions, will global poverty be solved? Probably not, but you’ll feel good about your little discovery. When we find answers to our questions, our brain releases dopamine as a reward for ourselves, and in turn, we feel happy and a little proud knowing that we can do something for the world.
